We have been really impressed with the quality and creativity of the submissions to Apps For Africa!
The jury has now narrowed down the list of top contenders who are up for the winning prize in the Apps for Africa competition.
The short-listed teams are (in no particular order):

1st, 2nd and 3rd place winners will be awarded from East and Central Africa only*. It has been a very close competition amongst those who have participated and the jury needs more time to select the winners. Because of this, the announcement of the winners will be delayed until March 7th.

Now that the mini-challenges (Stages 1 & 2) are behind us, it’s time to get ready for some big time coding! With a deadline of February 28th, our focus now turns to the main competition. New participants and participants from Stages 1 and 2 as well as from the Africa competitions are welcome to join.

We’re thrilled to announce the winners of Technology For Good Apps Competition (Stage 2) of the Ericsson Application Awards.
We have received a number of really good contributions for Stage 2 of the competition.
With the evaluation process now complete, we are able to reveal the winners sooner than anticipated. Keep an eye out for the announcement on Monday, December 12th.
Stage 2 of the competition is now closed. We have received a lot of innovative ideas. The evaluation process has already begun and we will be announcing the winning team on December 16.
