Doubts on EAA2013 rules

Dear,

The rules of the EAA2013 says that:

§1.4 The submitted application must be an original work (i.e. it shall not have been published or made available for a third party).

If one tries to improve an application idea, by publicly talking about it on forums, social networks, web pages, etc... is this application idea still considered an "original work"?

Mario

Hi I have another question about "Original work" meaning.
Reading above it's clear that the app must not have been published through app stores, websites and so on... but if, for example, I submit the app the 21th of January, after the submit can I publish it to some app store or distribute it through my site?! If not, I don't understand the reasons about this rule. Why should I decide between publishing my app or participating to this contest?

Hi!

The application must be original work within the time frame of the competition to have a chance to be one of the selected finalist teams in April 2013.

Hii,

I have one doubt about category, I am developer working with company, I like to enter into competition in company category, I like to ask is there any minimum team members are defined or any individual developer can also take part in competition?

Thanks!

Great, Thanks.

I have another doubt, though.
Can one team upload more than one application? Or a team can compete having only one application?

Hi Mario!

Yes, a team is allowed to submit more than one entry.
Remember that each entry shall include a working prototype, demo-video and text document.

Hi Mario!
Thanks for your question and interest in the competition.
"Original Work" means that the actual application (completely new or new functionality added to existing application) should not have been published to other competitions, app stores etc.
