Winners of Ericsson Application Awards!

The winners have been selected!
The competition organizers was delighted about the interest that this global student competition generated with over 700 registered users, 120 registred teams from 28 countries world wide and the involvement of 1000 end-users globally.

We would like to thank all of you who participated in this competition!

The jury selected the winners yesterday at the Nordic Mobile Developer Summit in Stockholm.

Finalist Teams!

The jury have now selected the 3 finalist teams based to a great extent on the end-user evaluations.
In tough competition with 14 innovative and well designed applications, the following 3 finalists were selected:
- Caller Profiler
- Childroid
- Mobile Travelogue

The finalist teams will be invited to Stockholm for the prize ceremony,

At the event the three finalist teams will make a short presentation (Code for Cash pitch) to a jury and the jury will select 1st place, 2nd place and 3rd place followed by the prize ceremony.

Congratulations to the finalist teams and thanks to the semi-finalist teams for participating and submitting
innovative applications to the Ericsson Application Awards.

Prize Ceremony June 10

The Ericsson Application Awards prize ceremony will take place at the Nordic Mobile Developer Summit in Stockholm, Sweden, June 10. The top three teams/applications will be invited to Stockholm for the prize ceremony. The travel and hotel arrangements for the finalist teams will be arranged by Ericsson.

At the event the three finalist teams will make a short presentation (Code for Cash pitch) to a jury and the jury will select 1st place, 2nd place and 3rd place followed by the prize ceremony.

The Ericsson Labs showroom makes your applications visible towards the telecom industry globally.

Next step in the contest!

Semi-finalist teams are allowed to update and submit their demo-videos before April 28 and applications (executable code) before May 4, 2010. This will give the teams a chance to bug fix and to make the apps more robust for the beta-testing activity.
