Semi-finalist teams are allowed to update and submit their demo-videos before April 28 and applications (executable code) before May 4, 2010. This will give the teams a chance to bug fix and to make the apps more robust for the beta-testing activity.
The selected semi-finalist applications will be evaluated by 1000 users from the US, China, Uk and Australia.
The evaluation is done on-line and each users will evaluate 3 applications based on the demo-videos and
a web-survey with questions about usefulness, characteristics etc for each application.
Also, the applications will be beta-tested by users registered at TestBed Bothnia in Sweden, http://testplats.com/doc/ .
There will be three beta-test sessions with 15 users in each session. Each user will test 5 applications and
answer questions about usefulness, characteristics etc for each application.
A jury (panel of experts) will evaluate the semi-finalists and based on the input from the on-line evaluation and
the beta-test select 3 finalists. The 3 finalists will be selected and announced May 26.
Good Luck!
