Technology for Good Apps Competition

Do you have an idea for an app that can help solve global challenges in two key areas:

a) social and economic development
b) energy and climate change

The good news is that you have until December 5th to submit your idea.

DESCRIPTION:
For this second stage (Stage 2) of the Ericsson Application Awards, teams are asked to submit a video that shows how their idea for an app solves a specific problem.

As part of Ericsson's commitment to using Technology for Good in a networked society, we are calling on you to present a problem and a use case (scenario) where your idea for an app will help to solve global challenges.

STAGE 2 SUBMISSION DATE:
Monday, December 5th, 2011, by midnight Pacific Time

PRIZE:
Members of the winning team will each receive a Sony Ericsson Xperia arc phone.
As part of our commitment to using Technology for Good, a Connect-to-Learn scholarship for a secondary school education will be given to a girl living in Sub-Saharan Africa in the winning team’s name.
Winners will be announced on the EAA website on December 16th.
